Recent
medical studies show that breathing fine dust can be a major health
concern. Microscopic particles that you can't see are floating about
the air in your work place all the time. These are the dangerous particles
that you breathe into your lungs, and are responsible for numerous
respiratory ailments. The JDS Air-Tech will dramatically improve the
quality of the air that you breathe.
Our units are intended for use in pre-press and pressroom areas to
remove airborne particulate. A powerful blower motor will quietly
circulate and clean the air by removing powder, dust, bacteria, fungi
and pollen. The JDS Air-Tech system will remove 99% of particles as
small as five microns and 91% of particles
as small as one micron in size. A cleaner pressroom means no more spray
powder residue, less hickies, and less maintenance to printing equipment.
Your heating, cooling, and humidity control installations will also require
less maintenance and filter changing. |

Typical
applications for our products include offset powder control, paper
dust, fumes and V.O.C.S from solvents, toner, and other particulate
that arise from various printing processes. A cleaner overall environment
in your printing facility will reduce hickies, re-scans, touch ups,
and plate remakes. This will result in an
overall increase in productivity, computer reliability, and a reduction
in equipment downtime and operating costs. |
Our unique slide in slide out filter system allows you to change filters quickly
and easily without the use of any tools. To replace the secondary bag filter
simply open the filter access door, slide out the old filter and slide in
the new. Changing filters has never been easier! To install simply insert
the four eye bolts (supplied) into the threaded holes in the top of the
unit. Hang the unit(s) over the press locations as close to the source of
pollution as possible. Recommended placement is 24" to 36" over
the delivery of the press or just behind the delivery. Improve your housekeeping
and at the same time create a more healthy and comfortable environment for
the pressroom personnel.

effects dust can cause. Even keyboards and monitors perform better
and are easier to maintain in a dust free environment.
